LED PAR Lights are used for situations where you would like to add some direction to your lighting. Generally the lens angle is smaller and this allows the light to be concentrated into a specific area. PAR lights also allow for slightly higher power applications. For example, PAR lights might be useful for illuminating an outside area or a stairway. That being said we do have dimmable PARs that can be used for accent lighting, and the PARs can be mounted in track light systems.
